Pet care experience
I work full time in public health (for humans) during the day and spend all of my free time with my 3-year-old lab Finn and 1-year-old lab Mia. I have experience with puppies raising both Finn and Mia since 8 weeks old. I also have experience with senior pups like my childhood dog, Lucy, who past away in 2020 at 12 years old. I have had cats my whole life and am happy to give them as much or as little attention as they prefer. I have taken several obedience classes with my dogs and have read a handful of books regarding dog behavior. I consider myself a responsible pet owner and take my responsibility for another creatures life very seriously. With that being said, I want their time to be enjoyable so I assure you that we will have FUN!

I am familiar with walking on or off-leash, so we will use whichever you prefer. I personally crate one of my dogs when I'm gone, so I am familiar with using a crate if that is what you do.

Please let me know if your dog is aggressive toward other dogs or people if I am going to be leaving your property. I would like a general idea of your routine such as if you walk with treats, if you have your dog sit before entering/exiting the house, etc.
A typical day
I am excited to play fetch or tug, and go for walks around the neighborhood or a local walking path. Vaughn Woods walking path in Hallowell, Kennebec River Rail Trail, and Augusta Greenway Trail are our favorites.

Availability
I work full time, M-F 8:00 am-4:30 pm. My work schedule can be flexible, so I am able to do drop-in visits or walks depending on the day around my work schedule.
