Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Kora and dogs are a huge part of my everyday life. I currently own a golden retriever named Millie! She’s my whole world. You can see her in my profile picture! I have been helping watch and care for the pets of neighbors and friends for about 3 years now. 2 years ago I started working professionally in the pet care industry and took a job at a dog daycare in my town. Being employed there, I have gained skill and experience working with and caring for dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. I also administer meals, medicine- including insulin- and tend to/treat minor injuries for the pups in our facility. I have also done in-home, overnight dog sitting for different pups. I’m a college graduate and hope to continue working with dogs in my future careers and professional life.

Kora has taken care of our Labradors for the past few years. From an older dog to a new Labrador puppy Kora has given them great care and is up for any challenge. She is trustworthy, prompt, and knowledgeable. She is experienced with animals and has great attention to detail. We know our dogs will receive great care when Kora is looking after them. We highly recommend Kora!
Kora is amazing with my fur baby! My dog always is a little anxious when I’m not around and doesn’t always eat well with sitters, but she is obsessed with Kora and doesn’t give her any trouble with meals or medications. She’s always so happy when I tell her that Kora’s coming and she’s always exhausted from all the fun she has! Kora sends me updates and pictures when I’m away and it’s so amazing to have someone I can truly trust with my pet. So look no further than Kora to watch your pets, you won’t regret it!
Kora watched my 2 boxers multiple times and did a great job. She would send me pictures and videos of her playing with them which was helpful while I was away from them.

As much as I would love to, I am unable to care for pets in my home. I live with my grandma who unfortunately does not have the health or strength needed for new dogs to be coming in and out of the house. I am available for all other pet care services including walks, drop ins, and in home overnight care!

Let me know if your dog has any special behavioral or health needs to be accommodated for. I have experience with dogs of all temperaments and ages. I am comfortable with handling/managing reactivity, leash aggression, medications, or other needs to keep your pup happy and healthy.
A typical day
I love hiking, so long walks are a favorite of mine. I love to explore different environments with a pup, like a new park or neighborhood to enrich their walk with plenty of sniffs and activity.

Availability
As for an overview of my work schedule, work at the dog daycare mornings until 11:30 am T-Th during the week, and all day on the weekends. I typically nanny from 4:30-7:30 pm M-Th during the week. My schedule is much more flexible and open during the week, but I can typically make weekends work as I have a 2 hour lunch break in the middle of the day and my work shift ends at 6:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
