Pet care experience
I have grown up with all types of pets having lived out in the country on a farm. Pets have always been a priority and I treat my pets like my kids. I’ve been the go to person for my friends, family, coworkers and neighbors when needing their pets watched or fed. I have two cats and a dog of my own! My pup I’ve had since she was 8 weeks old and both my cats since they were kittens so I have experience with all ages and LOVE them all. I’m willing to help in anyway to ensure all pets are well taken care of and follow their routines. I also try to provide a smooth transition for owners leaving for a long period of time and making each pet feel comfortable. I will almost always be available during weekends for drop ins and I can accommodate just about any need and I promise your babe will feel at home with me!

Kolby is the sweetest and most considerate caretaker for our 11 year old cat. She’s always reliable, spends time with her during the visits, and I never worry when she’s looking after her.
Kolby was a golden star. We were super nervous as first time Rover users but Kolby was a great communicator, sent us photos alongside updates daily and left our home cleaner than she found it. Will be working with Kolby again in the future!
For our 1st Rover experience, we felt so comfortable with Kolby caring for our little pup. She went beyond what we expected. She even came over the day before so we could meet her and show her the ropes.
We love Kolby! She’s so good with our cats, including one that uses an inhaler.

I use positive reinforcement with all of my pets. When it comes to dogs I try to be as friendly as possible to show I’m not a threat. When it comes to cats I like to take a hands off approach at first. I usually sit on the floor and pretend to not see them and allow them to come to me when they are comfortable. I do not ignore them but give them space and will slowly try to show I am a friend. After that it’s all pets and attention and cuddling.

A typical day
I love taking my pup on walks, to dog parks, and hiking! On a typical day I usually take my dog on a walk, afternoon dog park with her favorite ball and frisbee, and an evening walk. I also like to use other means of stimulation including Kong treat toys, and puzzle feeders.

Availability
I currently work a full time job Monday - Thursday 7am-5:30pm and am free most weekends; Friday-Sunday. Because of this I am usually able to do a drop in before and after work but not during the day. Please note that if you book me for an AM drop in during the week I will be there very early :) Please reach out to me about specific availability, days or times because I’m very flexible and can try my best to make things work! Even if my schedule says I’m busy it doesn’t hurt to ask! :)
