Since I was a young kid I helped my grandmother with all her dog walking and dog/cat sitting jobs. I would feed the dogs and cats and when she was older help her walk the bigger dogs that were a little to strong for her to manage. Now I want to put all that experience to good use. I do very well with animals. I find that cats that are normally shy around people eventually come out to great me. I always go to their level and understand when to not push things so they feel at ease with me. Dogs will often stop their "parents" when they see me down the street when they are going for a walk. They make their "parents" wait until I am close enough to come over and greet them. This has happened since I am a kid and still does to this day. I believe since I started so young learning to care for animals that they sense I am someone they can trust. I will treat your pet the same way you do as a member of my family.
