Hey! My name is Claire. I love dogs. I grew up with three pups of all sizes. I'm an active person, and I love going for walks-- especially when I have a pup with me! I live in an apartment in Williamsburg with my senior mini poodle Diana. (Because of Diana, I am strict about the sizes of dogs I can accept.) I work from home full-time, so the pups get regular potty and walk breaks. Let me know if you have any other questions, it's important to me that you feel comfortable leaving your pup so that you can make the most of your time away!

Claire was fantastic watching Ollie at my apt while I was away on vacation. She consistently provided updates and video's, found a way to make him eat (he's a picky eater) and took care of my apt. She was also flexible with schedules so that Ollie would not be left alone too long. Highly recommend her if you need a reliable dogsitter to take care of your pet.
Claire is a lifesaver! My Thanksgiving sitter canceled last minute and my older pup has some behavioral quirks, so I was worried about finding someone else last minute. Claire to the rescue — she was so good with Butters and helped him get comfortable in a new place, plus he got along well with her super sweet senior pup Diana. She sent lots of photos and videos so I never worried that he was settling in and well taken care of. I'm so glad to know Claire's in the neighborhood, and that she's so patient with dogs who need a little extra TLC to feel at home. Thank you Claire (& Diana)!
I needed a last minute sitter for my 4 month old puppy, who’d never slept away from home before! I was very anxious about it but Claire was awesome! Sent me regular updates and pictures that really eased my mind about his first visit away from home. Would definitely use Claire again!

I always make sure dogs are securely leashed when we go outside. I don’t have any outdoor space where I live, so there’s no concern about them getting out when I’m home.

I like to know a bit about the dogs personality--likes snuggles or doesn't like snuggles, high energy, likes to have the ball thrown for them, etc.-- before taking care of them. I would also like to know if there are any specific needs or routines with your dog so I can make them feel as comfortable as possible as it can be stressful for them to be in a new environment.
A typical day
I love getting outside as much as possible. Most days, I go out for long walks around the neighborhood or hang at the park (weather permitting!). If it’s too cold, I love snuggling on the couch with a cup of tea.

Availability
I work from home so usually I take my dog out 4x a day. Once right when we wake up, once in the early afternoon, once in the evening, and once right before bed. Usually it’s 3 short walks and one long one, but depends on the day!
