K.K. was great at checking in with me and making sure Ralph was well cared for.

I booked with KK for my dog to stay while my family and I went to the beach for a wedding. KK was very responsive and had great reviews and after meeting her I had zero reservations leaving our dog Roo with her. Unfortunately, we had to come get Roo moments before we were set to leave for the beach. KK noted that she did not think he would be manageable for the remainder of the trip because of his anxiety and her roommate's disatisfaction with our dog. I applaud her for being upfront as if we had already drove 5 hours to the beach before she contacted it would have put everyone in a VERY troublesome situation; however, I have boarded my dog before using Rover and have not had issues. I realize my dog has anxiety issues but I do not believe he is "unmanageable". We ended up having to take our dog with us to a rental that did not allow dogs. Thankfully the owner allowed us to bring him but we ended up having to pay a pet fee and manage our dog. One thing to take away from my perspective is that I was unaware that KK had a full-time roommate. Had I known this, I may have opted to go with another sitter despite her glowing reviews as my dog and I did not meet the roommate and I got the feeling the majority of the "unmanageable" issues (pacing, whining) were problems for her roommate moreso than KK.
