Pet care experience
Critters have been part of my world my entire life. I grew up with cats and transitioned to dogs as an adult. We have a 3+ year old rescue pandemic puppy (mixed breed) who keeps me busy. My husband and I are empty nesters with two grown kiddos. We recently moved back from an overseas expat assignment and as we have been getting settled back in, I have been trying to figure out what I should do for a living. Over the years I’ve cared for many of my friends, family and neighbor pets and decided that animals and pet care are my true passion.

Kim did an amazing job with our dog Milo! She provided daily updates along with photos and videos. She gave him so much love and care while we were on vacation. She even worked with him on some training skills! I would definitely recommend Kim and will be using her again in the future!

Kimberly Joy is my mom and is the best dog mom there is! She puts her full heart into our own family puppers, Willow and Piper. With neither my brother or I living at home anymore, she truly treats our doggies as her children and the same can be said for your pet. You can absolutely trust her with any dog of any age or activity range and she’ll make sure they have the best time. We all love her and so will your doggo!

We recently fenced our backyard to keep our dog from escaping and chasing bunnies everywhere. This also allows for a safe fenced environment for dog guests. We do not kennel our dog while away but typically put her in a smaller room to keep her out of trouble. We can kennel guests as needed. We do allow our dog on furniture but can keep any guests off if they are not allowed in their own home.

Please let me know if your dog has special needs or behavior I should be made aware of. I do require a meet and greet to ensure all parties are comfortable with the dog sitting arrangements.
A typical day
We will go on walks and have activities throughout the day. Our dog is high energy and loves to play with dog friends. If your dog needs a more quiet environment, he or she can hang out in various quiet rooms throughout the house, or snuggled up with me. During the winter months I also like to incorporate enrichment activities into the day.

I am home full time and can give your pup tons of love and attention as well as potty breaks as needed. After breakfast each day, I take my dog for a 2-3 mile walk and often a shorter walk later in the day.
