I started my passion with pet care as a trained dog groomer at Kennelwood for 2 years. Specializing in FURminating baths/brush outs, nail grinding and hair trimming with both dogs and cats. After a move, I began working as the lead dog handler at Murphy Animal Hospital and a dog handler at Love Unleashed. Working as a dog handler in such a large capacity has taught me how to read body language in order to better gauge situations in the yards, as well as how to disperse, distract and disrupt dog fights/ aggression while alone with upward of 50 dogs. At home I have the best 2 year old white lab and shepherd mix, Aspen, and three cats, Maple, Gypsy, and Malachi. In my life I have rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed many dogs, cats, fish, birds, snakes, and turtles. My dream come true would be to start a dog rescue/shelter to further my impact and help mans best friend.
