I provide an ideal environment for reactive pups. - Do you accept unspayed and non-neutered dogs? I accept unspayed females that have cycled within the past 4 months. Non-neutered males will wear a belly band inside my home. - What kind of job do you have? I work a flexible WFH full-time job from 9-5 pm M-F. -Do you accept dogs that use pee-pee pads inside? I accept dogs that are 100% house trained. Dogs will be able to go potty in our backyard every 2-4 hours. - Do you accept dogs that aren't crate-trained? I only accept dogs that are crate-trained. A huge 4x3 crate is provided for your convenience! - Do you allow dogs to sleep in your bedroom overnight? New clients will be in a spacious crate with comfy blankets and a white noise machine to help them sleep! Clients that don’t tolerate being crated may be in a baby-gated area instead, but this is on a case-by-case basis depending on the dog’s temperament. I sleep on the second floor of a two-story home, and allow dogs to sleep on the first floor. Dogs with separation-anxiety that require a person to sleep near them will not be a good fit for boarding. In this case, I recommend booking my daycare services. - My dog takes some time to warm-up to strangers. They tends to bark/grimace but won’t bite. Do you accept reactive dogs that do this? I do not accept dogs that have a history of being defensive/reactive to people inside the home and/or walks. Clients that show this behavior on the trail will not be considered for boarding/daycare regardless of history. However, I am willing to accept dog-reactive pets and/or pets that are cautious around people but do not show signs of aggression. -Do you accept dogs that have a history of nipping? I do not accept dogs that have a history of nipping. Dogs that do not have a history of nipping, but nip anyway during the daycare/boarding trail are not eligible for boarding/daycare. - How often are potty breaks? Every 2-4 hours, at least 5 times a day! ***************************************************** WHAT’S INCLUDED: - 75 minutes of activity a day, includes daily walk! I have experience with primarily large dogs, having owned a German Shepherd and several Pitbulls. But I can handle pups of all shapes and sizes! I have lived here in Wake Forest for about 2 years now with my husband, and we do not have kids or dogs of our own. We are not quite ready for our forever pup yet, but in the meantime we are committed to caring for your pups and enjoying their companionship!
