I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young and got my own as soon as I had my own apartment. My dog also loves having dog friends to hang out with so he’ll be really psyched to meet yours! I work full time from home so I’m always around to give belly scratches and attention. I usually go for a short dog walk in the morning, another in the afternoon, and a longer walk or dog park visit in the evening after I’m finished working. I’m okay with dogs on the furniture and on my bed, so sleeping arrangement is totally up to you! If your dog prefers sleeping in a crate I have plenty of room for that too.

Kit is incredible! Do yourself a favor and book her to take care of your pup ASAP. Our situation was insane and Kit took it 100% in stride. My husband and I flew to Costa Rica for a wedding and we had our pup stay with a friend. Within a day, Rosie was howling from anxiety and having nervous diarrhea all over her apartment. This was so out of character and our minds were blown. We were in Costa Rica (1 flight to NYC per day and a 2 hour drive to get to the airport from where we were staying) and our friend had to hand Rosie off to Kit as she had to leave town. We were certain that it was going to be a disaster, but our friend took Rosie to the vet to get meds and then dropped her off with Kit. During the handoff, I was on the phone with Kit letting her know that we were likely going to have to fly home early because Rosie was a mess. We had been in Costa Rica for Friday and Saturday and Kit got Rosie on Sunday, so we were looking at turning right around and flying back. Kit was so incredibly calm and reassuring, letting us know that she had watched many difficult dogs in the past and to let her see how it went prior to booking a flight. She mentioned that she had a cozy apt (100% true) and a lovely pup named Finn who might calm her. Rosie is not really a "dog's dog," but we were willing to give it a shot. Almost immediately we started getting pics and videos from Kit, showing Rosie chill and interacting (READ: ignoring, but not bearing teeth) with Finn. I finally took my first deep breath of the trip. She kept us updated on Rosie's behavior and anxiety level and every text felt so reassuring that we were able to finally enjoy ourselves. Meeting Kit as I picked Rosie up only confirmed that she was EXACTLY what I had expected: lovely, kind, chill and on top of everything. Kit you are an absolute GEM and we cannot thank you enough.
Kit took fantastic care of my little guy. Great communication, super responsible, and very patient with his quirks, Kit even gave us great advice on helping with some behavioral issues. Overall I'd definitely recommend!
Kit was super attentive and responsive during the stay! Kit also sent loads of pictures during the stay. Dash looked like he had a great time with Kit and Finn. Highly recommend if anyone is still considering! 🥰
Kit is a wonderful and very conscientious sitter. We were lucky to have Kit look after our dog over the holidays and it was a stress free experience! I appreciated how thorough and kind Kit is and we wouldn't hesitate to have them sit again. Thank you Kit & Finn!

I love taking dogs to the dog park near my apartment (Brower) or going on a longer walk to Prospect. Finn also has plenty of toys that he’s happy to share for games of tug o’war.
