I have been a dog owner for many years, and currently have a miniature schnauzer called Hugo. I have previously worked for a dog groomers, daycare and walking company and a kennels, amounting to over 10 years experience working with dogs, cats and other small pets. I also have a diploma in animal care, and am Canine first aid trained as well as being a RAMA (registered animal medicines advisor). I strive to create a home from home style experience for your dog, and therefore offer day care as well as just walks so your dog can have a fun, comfortable and varied day whilst with me. I have worked with dogs of all ages and sizes, and am experienced with puppies as well as senior dogs, even dogs with disabilities. Looking after other peoples dogs is a privilege and I genuinely love my job, so I hope you will consider me!

I would just like to say how fantastic Kirsty is she has looked after my dog for 3 years now and I would not go to anyone else she is friendly caring and is very passionate about the dogs she looks after.
Kirsty is absolutely phenomenal. She’s knowledgeable, professional, and very experienced. She has looked after many dogs and cares for them all to an excellent standard. Kirsty has helped me extensively with my own dog who has behaviour issues that are now under control due to Kirsty’s help. I cannot recommend her enough, and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave any dog in her care. They well be well loved and well looked after.

I have a gated entrance to the property, a medium sized garden surrounded by a 6ft brick wall for security. The dogs have plenty of space, many beds to choose from as well as the sofas, water if readily available as well as treats for those that are allowed. We have plenty of toys and never have more than 4 dogs per day, so that I can always give your dog the undivided attention they deserve.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviours I should know about. I have some behavioural and training experience and am always happy to reinforce any training methods that you are employing with your dog in order to keep up the consistency. I believe in positive reinforcement training and dogs in my care will never be scolded or punished.
A typical day
We have a variety of different walks to enjoy, plus I have several private fields that I book out with agility equipment and lots of space for the dogs to run around securely. I have a fenced garden, plenty of toys, but most importantly plenty of time to play with the dog(s) as well as just chilling out together and having cuddles

Availability
Aside from looking after my own dog, Hugo, I am fully available for dog walks, drop in visits for puppies or other pets, and can provide half or full day daycare from my home for those dogs that don't mind a little mini schnauzer for company!
