Pet care experience
I’ve cared for a dog of my own as well as multiple friends dogs! I love animals and enjoy going for hikes, walks and hogs with my own dog! I’m currently in school and looking for a part time summer job caring for dogs! I’m available Monday- Friday for drop in visits and walking! If you’re looking for someone to care for your dog, play with them and love them while you’re away or busy, I’m the girl for the job! I’ve watched dogs from 6 months old to 14 years old and haven’t met a dog I didn’t love! I’m friendly, laidback and extremly responsible and reliable! I’m willing to allow house trained pets that are well behaved into my current resedence if needed. Thank you!

I have known Kirstin for over 15 years. For as long as I’ve known her, she has always had a love for animals, especially dogs. Kirstin has watched my pug, Gracie, a countless amount of times, and Gracie absolutely loves her! She runs right up to her and jumps on her every time she sees her. Kirstin is reliable, dependable, caring, and I would trust her with anything. She truly demonstrates all of those characteristics through her love for all pets. I would highly recommend her to all who are in need of a dog sitter!
Kirstin watched my dog Charlie while my family and I were in North Carolina for the weekend. He is a very timid dog and not used to many people but Kirstin did such an amazing job watching him and treating him like her own! It is very reassuring to know that my dog was in such good hands so we could enjoy our time away. I will definitely be calling her again soon for my next trip!
Kirstin is not only my best friend but my go to dog walker/sitter. Kir grew up with both dogs and cats which so she has a special love for all animals. I always trust Kir with walking my bulldog Finn whenever I have to stay at work late or just need a little extra help. Kir understands Finn and his needs and he always comes home happy from a walk with Kir. I would highly recommend Kir to anyone who is in need of a dog sitter or walker!

I think some key things I need to know before I sit your pet would be his/hers likes and dislikes, what their daily schedule looks like, how active they are typically, any allergies, medications or medical conditions, how he/she gets along with other pets and people, and what their favorite treat is!
A typical day
I frequently walk Otto on the greenway, at Carvins Cove as well as take him on short hikes in the area. We love to explore and try to hit a different park each week for a change of scenery. Your dog will get plenty of steps in with me! Your dog will get to play with Otto, have games of catch, play soccer and even run with me if he/she is up for it! I also make some delicious healthy dog cupcakes!
