I have been a veterinary technician in emergency & critical care hospitals for 15 years, so I am well versed in all types of animal care from basic to very involved care for senior dogs with issues like diabetes, heart disease, renal disease, autoimmune diseases, cancer and so much more! I have two dogs of my own: a small terrier mix named Oliver and a miniature dachshund named Emi. They are both extremely friendly and playful with other animals! I also have three cats (Sammy, Leila and Bucky) that are good with dogs. Your fur baby would spend their time indoors on the second floor of my town home with my other two dogs. They could go outside to the back patio to sun themselves and to go potty as well! They would also be going on walks and to the park (depending on your comfort level and your pet’s temperament) with my dogs in my neighborhood. I would love to help you and spend some time with your fur babies!

I have a second level balcony and downstairs patio that are fenced in where I can spend time relaxing in the sun with your dog. I can easily crate your dog if needed, and can easily keep your dog separate from my pets if needed. In your home I can administer any medications needed, will exercise, feed and snuggle with your pets like I would my own! I keep a very clean home, and will make sure I leave your home squeaky clean as well!

Please let me know if your dog has any medical conditions (even if they are not on medication for the condition), if your pet takes any medications/supplements and if those medications have unique instructions. Please make me aware of any of your pets likes or dislikes (i.e. if they are head-shy, difficult to put leash/harness on, will only pee on grass, will only eat their food a specific way, etc.). Please make me aware of any behavioral issues your pet may have such as dog aggression, aggression towards children, fear of men (or women), if they walk well on leash or not. Please include what you usually do to work with or correct those behaviors so that I can be aware of how I should handle any of those situations.
A typical day
We’ll play a bunch of games, use food puzzles and enrichment toys, spend lots of time on walks soaking up the sun. We’ll go to the park, on hikes, or to the beach depending on your comfort level!

Availability
Pet care takes priority in my daily and weekly routine. My dogs go for 30 min walks twice a day, and go to the dog park 3-4 times a week. They eat twice a day and have free access to water. Your fur baby would spend their time indoors on the second floor of my town home with my other two dogs, and could go outside to the back patio to sun themselves and to go potty as well!
