Pet care experience
Work at home animal lover. We have always shared space with dogs and many various other small animals. We enjoy their company as well as walking, hiking, biking and playing outside. We have a one year old spayed female Italian Mastiff who is a high energy guard dog, she loves to play with other dogs. Our house is dog friendly and the yard has several fenced in areas with a tall, wooden privacy fence in the back. We are compassionate, honest, reliable and will treat your furry family member like one of our own. About this sitter: Calm, compassionate caretaker, I love all animals, small and large and have many years of pet care experience. Our home is located near several lakes, trails and parks in the Applewood neighborhood of Golden. The house and yard is very dog friendly. Why I love dog sitting We have had the privilege to get to know and live with numerous dogs and many different animals throughout our life. I have years of experience as a pet caretaker, I worked privately for a family In Morrison, caring and sitting their German Shepherd for years. I truly enjoy getting to know many different breeds and canine personalities. Meet my pets map turtle, sulcata tortoise, 2 ornate box turtles all caged, up high. About my yard Backyard is securely fenced in with a tall wooden privacy fence. There is an igloo shelter and lots of open space with water available at all times. We do not ever leave animals outside for extended amounts of time, unattended. My experience administering medication Yes, not a problem.

Kirstin was SO wonderful to work with. This was our first time using Rover and she made it so delightful. Noah had a great time with Kirsten over the holiday and I received an abundance of pictures of him playing and walking and sleeping. She was very quick to respond with every message sent to her. Will definitely be using her doggie services again :)
Kevin had a good time and was well taken care of. I got lots of pictures and could tell my guy was in good hands.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We will take your dog on many walks, there are many trails and parks around our area including Harriman Lake, Bear Creek Park, Weaver Hollow Park, open space fields and countless bike trails in every direction. Your dog's sleeping arrangement In the living room, on a dog bed. We can provide bed, if requested. We will allow the dog to sleep in bed with us or the children if this is what they are used to and they are not too large. We continually strive to make sure the dogs are as comfortable as possible. Time I'll spend with your dog We usually walk the dogs at least twice a day or one long walk (weather permitting) and provide lots of cuddling, affection and attention.
