Pet care experience
I am a life long animal lover. I lost my own dog a couple years ago and so decided to take this time to care for other’s animals. I now have adopted two older cats. They have both lived with dogs before and are dog savvy. I’m a special education teacher by day which gives me the patience and love needed to take great care of your pets. I give lots of love and attention but am also good at enforcing the rules and boundaries that we all need to be happy. I love hiking and running and need a four legged friend to join me on my daily adventures! I live and work in the North End of Boise. I can’t wait to meet your loved ones, and promise to love and care for your pet as I do my own!

Kirsti provided excellent care for our kitty while we were away. We enjoyed the pictures and updates she sent. She is very gentle and caring that our cat warms up to her instantly during meet and greet. We will definitely work with her again. Thanks!

I would like to know a little about their temperment, likes and dislikes, and how they get along with children and other dogs. This way I can plan outings that will be best for your pup. I have worked with dogs of all temperments and know many great spots to fit anyone’s needs. I was, unfortunately, attacked by pit bulls in the past. It wasn’t their fault, they didn’t have very nice owners, but unfortunately I now do not feel comfortable being left alone with this breed.
A typical day
I live in the North End so I often walk, hike and run around Camels Back or Military Reserve. Wherever you and your pup live I’m sure we will find a fun trail or bike path to explore! My Allie was a border collie so I am an expert ball thrower as well! I have had dogs with various medical conditions and have given injections as well as oral medications, and feel comfortable doing so.
