Pet care experience
I grew up with two dogs; both of whom I love a lot! I have been dogs sitting for over five years and have had various dog watching experiences. Last summer, for example, I house sat and took care of two aussies that required long walks every day. I take care of my neighbor's dogs when she is out of town. Both of her dogs were rescued and have trust issues with most people. I have experience giving eye drops and oral medications to dogs. I also have some experience pet sitting with cats and fish. I am currently on summer break and I am available most of the week and on weekends. I am trying to find a part time job or one where I have weekends off. I have trails and parks nearby where I can walk and play with the dogs. I also have roommates who love dogs almost as much as I do!

Kirsten is AMAZING! You can really tell she loves animals and our Lakota loves her! We will be using Kirsten as our go to walker and when we eventually go out of town for pet sitting. I would recommend her to anyone looking for help with a pet.
We really enjoyed having Kirsten take care of our boys! We are new to the area and needed a sitter on short notice. She communicated with me and sent photos which was much appreciated. She is studying to become a veterinarian and has such a natural way with animals. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a caretaker for their fur babies! We will use her again!
Kirsten is fantastic with our fur baby and has also helped us with taking care of our fish. She has always shown up when and as often as we’ve requested, has been reliable and responsible with making sure the house is safe and secure before and after leaving the house. I would highly recommend Kirsten for any pet sitting needs!
We had Kirsten come and watch our two Aussies. It was the first time I had left them, other than with family. She took such great care of them for the ten days that we were away. Kirsten came out and met my two dogs before hand and took notes as to the care that they would need. One our dogs uses daily eye drops and they eat different food. Kirsten was well organized and attentive. The dogs slept in the same room with her and loved all the great attention that she gave them. I would totally recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. I will definitely being using her again.

Before I take care of a dog, I would like to know whether or not they have any health issues and if they are comfortable around other dogs and people so I can keep your beloved pets and everyone around them safe.
A typical day
I have many trails near where I live! I can walk the dogs on the Poudre trail, Riverbend Ponds Natural Area, and even Horsetooth. If a dog is comfortable around other dogs, I can take them to a dog park. If I am caring for a high energy dog, I can take them on short runs. Fetch and tug-of-war are also great options for playful dogs!
