I have a passion for animals and believe that all animals deserve to be loved and treated as a part of the family. I also have a passion for animal rescue and have fostered and volunteered with rescue programs. I boarded dogs through Rover before having my children, and now that they are older, I am ready to open my home again (in a new state!!) We have a senior Italian greyhound, and a cat, who was bottle fed and raised with only dogs, so she thinks she is one. My family recently lost our other two senior dogs to old age and illness and our home feels a little empty with all the animals around. I am very familiar with the needs of senior dogs and the administering of medications. Our puppy guests have full access to the interior of our home, a large fenced backyard for running/playing, and a large patio and couch for sun bathing. Between our senior dog, a very active cat, and our children, your dogs would have playmates for lots exercise and lazy companions for our more mild-mannered guests. Your dog would fit right into our family, and even sleep in the room with us! We have a lot of dog beds, blankets, and toys! I stay at home, which allows the dogs to be in a supervised environment with a lot of attention. This also gives me a flexible schedule to help meet your needs. I only accept dogs that are up to date on their immunizations and get along well with children, small dogs, and cats. Kindly bathe your loved one before their stay. I offer a doggy bath during their stay for an additional fee. For visits in your home- I am also able to feed fish and care for small caged animals!
