I have always had a passion for caring for and learning about animals. From being the neighborhood pet-sitter in high school/middle school, to working at a large kennel last year, I’m now working as a vet assistant and loving it!

Kirsten has a deep love for dogs and cats. I can’t say enough about her compassion for all animals. She has worked as a Vet assistant for the past couple years and absolutely loves her job there. Kirsten has been a responsible pet sitter since she was 12 years old.
Kirsten loves dogs like they are human, she’s always looking to meet new dogs and she never fails to find the good in any dog. She has many stories from her job as a veterinarian assistant where she wins the trust of normally aggressive dogs. Overall, she knows how to handle dogs, she is responsible and experienced with all dog types, and she has a heart big enough for any dog.

Although I currently live in a small apartment with a lab mix named Kiwi, I am happy to drive to your house/apartment for pet-sitting/house-sitting. I also love taking dogs hiking! My dog is very friendly with other animals

I would love to know their temperament ahead of time. I’m confident in my ability to interact with any type of dog but I just want to know how to make them the most comfortable with me when I start taking care of them.
A typical day
I’m happy to do whatever makes your dog happiest. I love taking dogs hiking more than anything. I work at two different animal hospitals and i have been for nearly 2 years now, so if there are medications or special needs in the question I am confident in being able to make things work :)

Availability
I am currently working full time at two animal hospitals, but I have 3 days off per week. I available Monday and Tuesday all day of most weeks and my third day off can fluctuate from week to week. There are times during other days that I will be available and i’m happy to discuss that with you!
