Pet care experience
Hello! I'm a 30 year old responsible young woman, originally raised on a farm in Alberta, Canada. I have experience working with all sorts of animals - dogs, cats, birds, horses, pigs, goats, cattle, chickens, and even bearded lizards, but have a special love for dogs! I grew up with a golden retriever who I absolutely adored, and so I have a special fondness for the breed. However I love all dogs all shapes and sizes! I have experience sitting anything from little Terriers to huge Great Danes to working German Shepards (and everything in between). If you have a dog with behavioral issues (aggression, anxiety etc.), I am willing to work with you on a case by case basis. My interests are photography (international award winning photographer), videography, travel, horseback riding, hiking, camping and adventure! I am a fairly quiet individual who is non-smoking, clean, and organized. I have done house and farm sitting for many friends and family in the past and never had a complaint! Currently I have a photography/videography/video editing business, but I also provide pet care to help supplement. I usually work from my laptop so I can stay in your house during the day. Please let me know how much care you'd like throughout the day, as this may effect rates. I am happy to walk with your dog, visit and play or take care of it, and stay overnight. Kirsten provided outstanding in-home care (in our home) for our two pups while we vacationed!! This was the first time we had vacationed without our pups, and we were nervous about leaving them. She played ball outside with the girls and walked them daily. She texted daily updates, along with pictures, while we were gone. This made us feel so much better! Kirsten is a true professional. We returned to a home that looked like it did prior to leaving and freshly baked banana bread! We were very lucky to have Kirsten in our home and caring for our pups! Kirsten is fabulous! She stayed with our senior dog while we were on vacation. She sent photos of him and texted me to ensure he was doing well and eating (which can be challenging for him given his separation anxiety). Kirsten is so tidy that I had to do nothing when we returned home. Even washed the linens! We felt Bones was in great care and we will definitely have her back!
We had Kirsten stay with our boys for another overnight. The dogs were excited to see her and well cared for during our absence. We will definitely use Kirsten again!
Kirsten stayed at our home with our 3 dogs. We received multiple photos and video's. Came home to happy dogs and a spotless house. We will refer her to anyone and will use her again in the future.

A typical day
My own home does not work to keep pets at, so I'm always happy when get to play with dogs at a clients place! We play with toys, have bathroom breaks, and have lots of cuddles. I love going on walks in and around town. If you're dog likes the dog park I can take it there! Happy to play with dog at home, give medications, or just snuggle :) I also can offer pet photography if you are interested!
