I love all sorts of dogs and I’ve been caring for them my whole life. I currently volunteer and foster dogs with the Humane Rescue Alliance. Some dogs have a hard time finding the right family, so rather than spend months waiting at the shelter, they get to come stay with me! We practice manners, make sure we’re housebroken and learn some new tricks to impress prospective adopters. We also have lots of fun playing with toys, running around the backyard, going for long walks around the neighborhood and even hikes in Rock Creek! It’s really rewarding getting to hang out with these sweet babies and helping them find their forever homes. I used to volunteer to train seeing eye dogs with Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and that’s when my love for training dogs really took off. I’m comfortable around all sizes and breeds of dogs and I love getting to spend time with all sorts of animals. I have experience caring for and training a lot of different temperaments and I’m knowledgeable about the best techniques for training and dealing with problematic behaviors. I love playing and walking active dogs and lounging around with more chill dogs. I can’t wait to get to know your four legged friend!
