My son and I are doing Rover as a fun bonding side job for extra “play” money. My son absolutely loves animals of all shapes and sizes, is extremely gentle, and loves being able to “help”. He does not grab or pull, he asks the animal if he can pet first, and loves to sit on the couch for cuddles. I do all the feeding/walking/cleaning and he takes care of the playing and petting, we’re the perfect match! I have had dogs and cats all my life before I moved to Seattle, and Brayden has loved taking care of his grandparents dogs/cats ever since he could walk. We have two kittens that absolutely love playing with B, so we know our kitties :) All the animals I’ve had started as puppies or kittens until they were old geezers, so I know how to care for all their needs such as extra walks or giving meds. I live in between Bremerton and Silverdale, so I am happy to drive 20 min or so in each direction. I am a working professional but am willing to drive to accommodate a pet parent in need because I understand the struggle of getting reliable pet care. We are timely, considerate, and communicative with whatever special needs you have! Our only request is that your animals are kid tolerant (I can still do the drop in as long as they are okay with him watching TV on the couch) and if you don’t know we are happy to do a meet and greet beforehand!
