Forever dog lover and appreciator

Pet care experience

I have lived with dogs since I was born and learned early on the responsibility of caring for pets. Dogs' loyalty, love, and devotion is unmatched. I would do anything for my pets and have. Not a year has gone by that I have been without a creature under my care, and I would like to pass my love for dogs onto those who may need my assistance. I have had cats in the past (my last one passed in 2014 at the age of 20,) and currently have a flock of laying hens and ducks, as well as a horse and two big-eared dogs. My husband and I rescued our first dog in 2013 and our second in 2015. One is a Dutch Shepherd and the other a Belgian Malinois Shepherd. Within two weeks of rescuing, we immediately went to training to learn how to interact appropriately with our new additions. We are both active people who cannot sit still for long. Our dogs come with us everywhere we go (unless a sign says "no dogs allowed.") We began a farming company in the beginning of 2016 raising poultry and crops, and our rescues became farm dogs, greeting customers and herding our chickens and turkeys. Your canine(s) should you choose my services and depending on the type of service you choose, would be handled with the care and love I give to my "children" and treated with the respect a loyal companion deserves. They would accompany me where I go and have the opportunity to expend any pent-up energy on long walks, hikes, jogs, or whatever I can come up with. I would follow your guidelines for what works with your pet on walks, during feeding, and if they need any medical assistance I would be happy to provide it (my cat needed injections of saline every other day for kidney failure and happily lived an extra 4 years.) I have a vet within 15 minutes from my house that is 24/7 for emergency care. There is much more I can provide if needed. Please consider my services for your dog care needs. SEASONAL UPDATE: During the farming season I may have limited availability beginning in June through October. My wish is to pick back up as October begins and hope any future clients understand. Please do inquire on my availability, though, as I may have some time that frees up! I would truly love to watch your dog(s)!

Kirsten went above and beyond her duties! She took Coco at the last minute for dog boarding & have us solid advice on how to train her to be more obedient! She even gave us one of the tools she used to train her own dogs and accustomed Coco to training too! We’ll definitely call her to watch Coco again!

Kirsten was an incredible dog watcher. My dog Malcolm and her dog Sawyer were best friends almost immediately and they spent almost their entire days outside with her on the farm. Kirsten sent daily videos and pictures showing how much activity they were doing. Also, when we went to pick up Malcolm, he was visibly hesitant to leave. Highly recommended.

Ive known Kirsten for 8 years. Kirsten has 2 dogs Jada and Sawyer. On top of the dogs she cares for chickens, turkeys and 2 horses, so she is no stranger to animals. Her and Chris(husband) have spend almost every free second they have with the dogs. Jada and Sawyer are some of the most obedient and sweetest dogs I've know. They are fed well and healthy. Whether they are at the house or on the farm the have pleanty of room to run around and play. I would refer Kirsten to anyone looking for a dog sitter/walker.
