Pet care experience
I’m an aspiring Veterinary Technician. I have shadowed civilian and military Veterinarians for over 60 hours. I am also prior Active Duty military and have trained and worked with Military Working Dogs. I religiously grew up with dogs in the house. For over 5 years, I’ve had my two puppers who are healthy and extremely spoiled. I got my one dog as a puppy and have experience house training. I also dog sit/walk my family and friends’ dogs which vary breed and age. Due to this, I have a wide range of experience with different dog behaviors and needs. I am comfortable with giving medication via pill, fluid, or topical.
Reviews
Kirsten is a passionate animal enthusiast. Throughout her life she has taken care of animals of various sizes from cats to dogs. She has demonstrated patience and commitment to the animal community through her volunteering at animal shelters and taking in strays. While taking care of her own pets, she has helped family and friends to take care of their pets too. Although she shows tremendous responsibility through these actions, it’s her love for animals that really shines through. There is no one that I would trust more to walk or take care of my dogs!
Kirsten took amazing care of my cats! She even spent her own money on buying them each a toy and treats. She also sent a picture everyday I was gone. I would highly recommend Kirsten to anyone. Her love for pets gives me full faith she can take care of any animal.
Kirsten Mazor is by far the most caring and friendly pet host someone can have. You can guarantee your pet is in great hands when she is dogsitting or walking them. As someone who knew her for 7 years, there’s no one I would trust more than her.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care and love Kirsten provided to my mini poodle, Nala. From the moment I entrusted Nala to Kirsten's care, I knew she was in the most capable and loving hands. Kirsten's professionalism and genuine affection for animals were evident in every interaction. She took the time to understand Nala's unique needs and personality, ensuring that she felt safe, happy, and loved during her time with Kirsten. Kirsten's attention to detail and dedication to Nala's well-being were truly remarkable. I received regular updates, including pictures and anecdotes that clearly showcased the bond she had formed with Nala. It was evident that Nala not only received excellent care but also abundant love and affection. I had complete peace of mind knowing that Nala was in the care of such a caring and responsible individual. I wholeheartedly recommend Kirsten's pet care services to anyone seeking a professional, trustworthy, and compassionate caregiver for their furry loved ones. Nala and I are truly grateful for Kirsten's exceptional care and support.

Some things to know about how life is like with my dogs: - I have a fenced in backyard where they are free to play and potty as needed. I have a potty routine with them especially when in comes to a pooping schedule. - My dogs are absolutely welcome on the furniture and cuddle with me in bed at night. - I always keep food down for them to graze when they are hungry. They are a healthy weight and can manage their food intake. - I taught my dogs trigger words like “outside/potty, hungies, treats, walk, ride, bed, upstairs, downstairs”, and common commands. - I have a “leaving the house” routine that makes my dogs less anxious. What I can do for your dogs: - I will treat your fur babies with the same respect I treat my dogs - I am flexible when it comes to doggie parent stipulations. If you want things done a certain way, I will abide by it. - I have a dog friendly car with two doggie seatbelts if I need to transport your dogs (emergencies, trails, rides, etc) - I have a walking kit including dog poop bags, water bowls, and pepper spray in case of emergency
Information Kirsten M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know ahead of time if you have any special needs for your baby. I am more than comfortable with oral and topical medication applications, along with a special feeding schedule!
A typical day
I am flexible on the owners and dogs needs. I will take your dog(s) on a walk/jog around the neighborhood or to a park. If the owner is comfortable and does not have dog toys, I can bring balls, ropes, and treats to ensure the dog is stimulated and pooped out when the owner gets home:)
