I am currently a stay at home mom and fur mom to an 8yr old Lhasa Apso. I love animals, and having had a hard time finding the right care for my dog’s needs while we vacation, and also years of experience pet sitting during my college and grad school years; I decided to offer my home to love on others’ pets just as their family would. Prepare to vacation with peace of mind. My dog gets along wonderfully with other small breeds, but gets small dog syndrome around large breeds. That is why I’m only taking on dogs 20lbs and under please. My two children (5&7) love dogs and are the best helpers and safe havens a nervous pup could ask for. I’m also happy to do drop in care for cats or other pets in the owner’s home. We have a large 1.5 acre yard and an electric fence. I will keep your dog on leash , but am happy to train your dog on the fence system if preferred. Dogs are welcome on our furniture (unless you don’t want that habit starting) and will be loved like our own.
