Pet care experience
Over the years I’ve either owned or cared for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, bunnies, and fish. I have responsibly cared for the pets of my friends and neighbors, both in their homes and mine. I am amazed by the diversity in the animal world and enjoy any opportunity to get to know our animal friends and companions. Each one is so unique. Let me help you out by loving on YOUR pets, too! Along with animals, I love the outdoors. I enjoy walking, hiking, and occasionally running and biking. I’ve experienced first-hand the many benefits of fresh air, exercise, and sunshine. Since walking and outdoor life is such a passion for me, I’d love to share it with your dog for his/her daily exercise. Let’s give it a try! I’m happy to serve.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors that I should be aware of. It would also help to know how they react around children and other animals, any dietary information, and what commands they respond to.
A typical day
I love taking my dog friends out for walks, exploring the neighborhood and any local parks. While house and pet-sitting, I love walking with the dog(s). If the dog is up for it, we will spend time outdoors walking and exploring anywhere from 30-60 minutes, at least twice a day. I often housesit with my kids and husband, and they are all great with animals. The kids are especially excited to make new dog friends and play fetch, tug of war, or just sit together for cuddles and pets. My husband is a natural with dogs. Playful, friendly dogs always seems to know he'll enjoy their slobbery kisses!

Availability
I work part time from home, so I have plenty of time to play with your pets or take them on walks! I am also available for daytime or overnight stays, as needed. Weekends and weekdays are both flexible, so don’t hesitate to let me know if I can help you with your pet-care needs.
