Safe Dog Boarding & Drop-In Visits!
Pet care experience
My husband I have lived with and rescued animals for many years including fostering with the ASPCA. Current permanent residents include two adults, two children, two cats, a three legged turtle and a one eyed dog (not our fault). You can be assured that your pet will receive plenty of attention in a stress free environment. I now also do drop in visits for cats and dogs if you prefer that your pets stay in a familiar environment. Before booking please plan on scheduling a Meet and Greet with our family. We require a prior meeting to your first stay so your pet can meet us and we can do a temperament test to make sure this is the right environment for your pup. We also require all pups to be spayed or neutered to visit with us and to be up to date on all vaccines. We ask that you provide the following items to make your pups stay as comfortable as possible: 1. Food - instructions on how often ,time frames and amounts ( allergies if any as well) 2. Leash and collar or harness ( we do not use retractable leashes on walks ) 3. Comfort items if your pup needs them (Bed, Blanket and toys) Amenities include a room (w/toys, music and TV), crates, and a huge, private fully fenced backyard (with locks) for potty breaks and play every two hours or as needed. Special requests and needs, within reason, can be accommodated. *Available for pick up's and drop off's; only if you are within five to ten miles of our home. When booking please provide a time frame of drop off time and pick up time as we set a 30 min window between drop offs so everyone has a walk by themselves before others join them during their visit this helps with anxiety and gives us a chance to bond with your pet . I am a stay at home mom, so I am home with your fur babies most of the day. Since I have young children, I limit my hours for pick up and drop off between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm. I have a fully fenced in back yard for lots of exercise and play time. If I am away from the house for any reason the dogs are kenneled in the house.
Reviews
Kirsten and family are great Rovers! She/they take really great care of charm!
Kirsten was AMAZING with our pup, Maple! This was the first time we have left Maple with anyone and I felt so comfortable having her in Kirsten's hands. Will definitely be booking again!
Kirsten is absolutely 💯 one of best sitters, I have come across. Her kindness and understanding made my vacation worry free, knowing that my furry babies, were in good hands 🙌. Thank you ♥️♥️
Kirsten is an amazing “Rover” for our dog Charm. She spends lots of quality time with her and all the other dogs I’m sure. She goes above and beyond to care for her especially when she gets a bit finicky with her dinners. She also gets a lot of loving from her children when they read stories to her! So you can’t get much better than that!

I love to keep the dogs active during the day. If we are not all outside playing in the yard, then we are taking walks along the greenway that is located near my home.
