Branding dogs as generally requiring the same care, is a major flaw in my field of work. In my 8 years of dog care experience, I have learned that dogs desire and require individualized care to better suit their needs and wants. I learn 'who' a dog is to treat them as closely to their dog parent as possible. This includes walks on a flexible schedule, play time that extends far beyond the minimum 30min, text message updates on walks, health and behavior, and the love and affection that they miss while their parents are away. Learning the personality of a dog is crucial to their care and well-being, it is also one if my greatest skills. I want the dog parents to know and see that their dog is comfortable and safe with me while they are out of the home.
