Pet care experience
We are an animal loving duo who loves to travel. Cats and dogs make our lives so much sweeter. While we don't have our own pet babies at the moment, we like to get a dose of sweetness as often as possible! We love taking walks and keeping animals in their routine. Carmelo is an artist, and I, Kirsten, have a small travel business and am a Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner. We have a soft spot in our hearts for pups and kitties. We would love to play substitute Mama and Papa for your little one(s). We have made lots of friends via petsitting both with our host pets and host people : ). It really makes the world feel so much smaller and kinder! Thank you for considering us!

Carmelo took such great care of my cat, Toast! Toast got plenty of attention, and I got pictures of him having a good time every day. I highly recommend Kirsten and Carmelo, and if I need a cat sitter for a week in the future, I'll be sure to go back to them.
Kristin and Carmelo are wonderful! They looked after our two high energy dogs for a week, making sure both dogs got enough exercise, food, treats and love. They also send us updates and pictures for every visit, making us feel very reassured. Highly recommend them and we will def ask for their help again in the future!

One of the hardest decisions when going on vacation is the people you choose to care for your fur babies and home. Kirsten and Carmelo are without a doubt the best dog sitters and after multiple repeat dog sits they’re now lovingly family to our two Golden’s. Our lengthy care instructions are always followed to a T, we receive frequent updates which we look forward to every day, our home is always left spotless, and most importantly we have never seen our dogs seem so happy and relaxed when returning home from vacation. We are forever grateful for finding Kirsten and Carmelo and Charlie and Lucy are already looking forward to their next stay.

It's important to know if dogs are on any medications, their meal times and quantities, their bathroom habits, their favorite activity, where their leash is kept, and if they like car rides. It's really important to know how dogs are off leash and how they are with other dogs and also children and strangers should someone ask to pet them : )
A typical day
Happy to go for walks, hikes, jogs, beaches, parks, or swims where possible! We can play fetch, ball, frisbee in the back yard or hide and seek with their favorite toys. That's always a fun one!
