Pet care experience
I am 26 and a life-long animal lover, and I have been a Rover sitter for 4 years. My whole life, I have had dogs, fish, hamsters, hedgehogs, small snakes, turtles, frogs, and horses, and I have pet-sat many cats. I would love to love yours for a little bit. We can go for walks, have some snuggles, go play outside, go for more walks, and I can brush your dogs as needed. I can also help with basic training, like learning sit, stay, paw, and some leash training. I am willing to help care for other small creatures and plants in addition to dogs and cats! I would love to help watch your most treasured family members!

Kirsten did a great job taking care of my 2 kitties. She gave thorough updates and pics with each visit, so I didn’t have to worry about how they were doing. Definitely recommend her and plan to use again in the future!

Kirsten was wonderful with my two dogs and one cat while we were away on a two week vacation. She stayed in constant contact letting me know how everyone was doing, gave them all extra attention and even offered to brush them (only the cat seemed to enjoy that!). My mini Aussie, Cricket, is very standoffish with new people, but she quickly took to Kirsten. All three greeted Kirsten at the door on each visit, and although they were happy to have us home, they really enjoyed their time with Kirsten. We all look forward to working with her again in the future!

Before I book a request, I like to know what your pet needs to be cared for in the way that they are used to, so I can follow their routine as much as possible (plus a few extra treats). I like to know what you wish for me to help with each visit, along with any emergency information in case it becomes relevant (though I hope I never need it!).
A typical day
In addition to feeding, changing water, and making sure all of your pets' bathroom needs are met, I try to spend quality time with all of the furry and feathered friends I meet. I will make sure they get scritches and get to play as much as they want while I am caring for them!
