Pet care experience
While I am new to Rover, I have been a dog lover my whole life! I have taken care of many breeds and sizes of dogs. I help take care of our neighbor's dog regularly, friends and family members have asked me to help when they are away, and I have even stayed overnight to take care of dogs while their owners were away. I love taking dogs on walks and adventures, as well as playing with them in their own home!

Kirsten has been the one person we could always count on to not only attend to the needs of our pets but to care for them in the same fashion as we would. The comfort level we have when we are away and she is watching the pets is one of complete trust. Her responsibility is tremendous and I could not recommend someone more.
I highly recommend Kirsten! She did a wonderful job caring for my dog while I was out of town, and my house was kept in great shape, too. Kirsten was easy to communicate with, and diligent in everything that I had asked of her. She is very friendly, trustworthy, attentive, and dependable. Kirsten is a wonderful option to care for pets of all kind! She's reliable, flexible schedule, even willing to re-arrange her own life to help others. I will always follow your directions when caring for your pet. I will shower your pet with love and attention, as well as give them some physical and mental exercise! I can crate your pet, if needed, and I am happy to give any oral medication your pet may need. Additionally, if we go on walks, your pet will be leashed and cleaned up after. I will communicate with you regularly to ensure the top quality care that your pet deserves.

A typical day
I love to play games with dogs and take them outside! I enjoy taking dogs to dog parks and to local hiking spots. Going on walks is a regular part of my pet-care, as well as lots of love and affection.

Availability
During the school-year, I work as a full-time teacher and have more limited availability. However, during the summer, my availability is open 7 days a week and I am pretty flexible for meeting any needs you may have! If you are in need of summer dog care, please reach out!
