Pet care experience
I grew up with four absolutely wonderful dachshunds, and they were the center of my and my family's life. After having to say goodbye to my beloved girl Apple last year, getting to spend time with and care for other dogs has been particularly meaningful. Aside from my experience caring for my own pets, I also have over 15 years of experience as a pet sitter and dog walker for friends and neighbors, and would love to do the same for your loved one!

Kiri was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and so easy to coordinate with. Our dog was so relaxed when we got home and she was very respectful of our space as well. Would absolutely love to have her house sit our doggie again!
We were so happy to have Kiri watch our little pup while we were out of town for the day. Kiri was so kind and agreed to do a mini meet and greet the day prior with us, which brought us great comfort to see how much our dog took to her IMMEDIATELY. We felt completely relaxed and knew she was in good hands, appreciating the photos and occasional updates. We would 100% recommend and would most definitely ask again.?

I also have experience taking care of both senior pets and those who have experienced some sort of trauma or are uncomfortable around strangers. A typical day
All animals are unique, and so I'm excited to get to know your dog or cat and find out exactly what makes them the happiest and most comfortable they can be. Of course, I always love exploring new neighborhoods on walks, playing fetch, and snuggling on the couch, and will look forward to doing any or all of those things with your pet!

Availability
I work for a human rights nonprofit and have the ability to work remotely multiple days a week--so I have a flexible schedule and am happy to work around your/your dog's schedule as best I can. Being around animals is a tremendous source of joy for me, and taking care of them and going on walks is always a welcome break!
