I can assure nothing but the best regarding their needs being met, as well as their comfort, while in your absence. Below I go over my credentials, myself and my pets. My Knowledge, Experience and Credentials: I have vet/kennel experience and am confident in bathing, light grooming, nail and ear care, anxiety maintenance and some training. I am knowledgeable on feeding schedules, different dogs foods and how much your dog should be eating according to their weight, how to administer meds, and general boarding guidelines. I LOVE to go on walks and have plenty of training treats, grooming and bathing supplies. I understand pain management in dogs and post-surgery care as well as anxiety and how to manage it. I am comfortable in caring for dogs (both fixed and not), cats, large birds (cockatoo, Amazon Parrot, etc.), ferrets, chinchillas, rabbits, and snakes. I have personally cared for, cleaned the habitat, bathed, etc. every type animal previously listed. I quote $15.00 an hour, but price is always negotiable (flat rate day prices, etc). A Little About Myself: I am a 29 year old female who graduated from Belmont University with a BBA in Business Management in 2010 and grew up in Franklin. I worked in my family's Real Estate Appraisal Corp. until the summer of last year. when a family member passed away. Since then, I have worked at a Veterinary Hospital and also hosted full time at Puckett's, but am currently taking some personal time off, which is where Rover.com came in. My schedule is pretty much wide open and this would be the perfect opportunity to still earn some money while doing what I LOVE. I have had a passion for animals (all types!) since I was a child and am excited to care for your pets. A Little About My Pets: I have 2 miniature dachshunds named Boomer and Dora, an Australian Cattle named Marley, and a Gold Dust Corn Snake named Khaleesi. Boomer is a 2 year old male miniature dachshund rescue who had severe anxiety issues when first adopted (getting better every day :) ). Dora is a 12 year old female dachshund who I have had since I was 16 years old. She is my best friend and definitely my therapist at times :). Dora had a successful back surgery about a year and a half ago to prevent paralysis. She is doing amazing, walking great and has lost weight! Her surgery taught me to care for a dog post surgery as well as pain management. Marley is a 10 year old male Australian Cattle who is definitely always "smiling"... he constantly reminds me why dogs brighten our lives so much! And lastly, Khaleesi is a female Gold Dust Corn Snake that I have had for a little over a year. She isn't quite full grown, but close at 3.5 feet and about 1.5 inches "thick". I have had her since she she was just 6 weeks old. She recently moved to a 40 gallon tank, which she loves. After wanting an exotic pet for so many year I decided to finally take the plunge and it has been such an amazing experience. Again, thank you for the opportunity and look forward to hearing from you!
