Nature-Embracing Dog care provider!

Pet care experience

What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive experience of over 15 years in caring for dogs, alongside my commitment to their physical activity and nutritional well-being. I engage dogs in a variety of activities, such as hiking, swimming, and visits to dog parks, ensuring they are not only physically active but mentally stimulated. During inclement weather, I have numerous dog toys at home to keep them entertained and active indoors. Moreover, I have skills in administering medications such as pills and ear solutions, a requirement that may arise in caring for senior dogs or those with medical conditions. Perhaps what distinguishes me the most is my passion for making healthy dog treats from scratch. I firmly believe in providing dogs with nutritious and healthier food options, and this homemade approach is a testament to that. Additionally, I offer a beautiful, spacious home environment, surrounded by woods and walking trails, providing dogs with an extensive area for exploration and play. With a dog park only a 2-minute drive away, their outdoor fun is virtually unlimited. My approach to pet care combines both love and professional skills, ensuring your dog would be in the best possible hands.

Kiran did a wonderful job watching my dog . My dog is reserved and was hesitant to be watched by a stranger , warmed up quickly to Kiran and had a great time at his place .

I never leave pets un-attended even if it's fenced to make sure they are ok. My home has a beautiful walking trail right behind my backyard! I always make sure their water bowl is full and pay attention to the toys/chewables they put in their mouth so I can act quick in case they choke. If they feel sick, I keep them next to me all the time and they go on my office bed when I'm at work and totally open to taking the pet to the recommended veterinarian if needed and will be in communication with the owner at all times, I wouldn't mind being away from my work for few hours!

Information Kiran M. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know below information so I can provide the best care for your pet. 1. Basic Information: Age, Breed, gender 2. Health Information: It's important to know any existing medical conditions, allergies, and special needs your pet might have. Information on the dog's veterinarian and emergency contact numbers should also be very helpful. 3. Behavior and Temperament: Knowing about your dog's behavior around other animals and people (especially children) is crucial. This also includes understanding their comfort level with strangers, reactions to certain triggers, and any potential behavioral issues. 4. Feeding Schedule and Diet: Information about your dog's diet, including any specific dietary needs or restrictions, and their regular feeding schedule is crucial to maintain a healthy routine. 5. Exercise Requirements: Each dog has a different energy level. Knowing your dogs exercise routine, preferred activities, and stamina can help provide an appropriate amount of physical activity. 6. Training and Commands: Understanding what commands the dog knows and any specific training techniques or cues used can assist in maintaining consistent communication. 7. Grooming Needs: Some dogs require more grooming than others, so it's essential to know your pets grooming schedule, including brushing, bathing, and any special care for their coat or breed. 8. Sleeping Habits: Please let me know your pets sleep schedule and whether crate trained, and any bedtime routines they have which can be useful to make them comfortable during their stay. 9. Favorite Toys and Activities: Knowing what toys and activities your pet loves can help me bond with them and keep them entertained. 10. Any Fears or Anxiety: Some dogs might have certain fears or anxiety triggers like thunderstorms, vacuum cleaners, etc. Being aware of these can help me better care for your dog under such circumstances.

A typical day

The fun activities that I plan to do with the dogs I watch depend on their interests, physical abilities, and the weather, but some typical activities include: Outdoor Adventures: If the dog enjoys outdoor activities, I take advantage of the local dog parks and hiking trails near my home. I love to go on long walks or runs with dogs through the beautiful woods surrounding my property. Hiking can be a great adventure for dogs, providing them with a chance to explore new environments and smells. Dog Park Visits: I live just a 2-minute drive from a fantastic dog park. This park is a safe, fenced-in area where dogs can run around off-leash, play with other dogs, and have fun with different obstacles. Swimming: If the dog is a good swimmer and comfortable around water, we can enjoy some swimming sessions in safe waters. Playtime at Home: On days with bad weather, or for dogs who prefer indoor activities, we have playtime at home. I have a variety of dog toys to keep them entertained and active.
