Hi! I’m Kira, aka “KAT.” I met my first pet on the day I was born and have been an animal lover ever since! While growing up I had 3 dogs and 2 cats - there was never a dull moment! In my preteen years I was the neighborhood animal sitter and I developed my skills of feeding schedules, giving belly rubs, going for walks, and cleaning up the unmentionables. Now that I have moved out on my own I have adopted two precious cats who I love with my whole heart. I miss seeing dogs every day and would love the opportunity to spend some time with a good boy or girl! I would also be over the moon if I was entrusted to care for and meet some precious kittens through this work as well.

Kira was probably one of the best sitters we have had on Rover for our three kitties. You can tell she genuinely cares about your pets and their wellbeing. While some sitters may simply feed your pet and leave, she was sure to play with them and give them extra love. This was so comforting as we hate leaving our pets. Kira also quickly accommodated a last minute booking and was sure to ease my worries. 10/10 would book with Kira again!

Kira is the best!! She is one of the only people I felt completely comfortable leaving my cat Teddy with. She did great with his eye drop medication he needs every day, and Teddy just loved her! Will always be asking Kira to watch Ted when we go out of town!!
As someone who is anxious to leave their fur baby even for a couple days, Kira was the next best thing to me being home myself. She was so sweet and I loved reading her detailed descriptions of the visits. She followed instructions perfectly and was sure to communicate. I’ll be requesting her help again in the future for sure. 💖

That means that I will pet and love on them on their terms, be gentle and empathetic to those timid towards strangers, follow a prompt feeding schedule, comfort animals during hard days, take them to get plenty of exercise, and of course, allow as many treats as the owners (YOU!) deem fit.

Availability
I am currently building clientele as a mental health therapist and am looking for a fun and rewarding part time gig as a pet sitter while my therapy schedule fills. I am free the majority of the time on Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday! I can even do most Monday and Friday mornings and evenings. I would love an opportunity to care for your pets like they are my own.
