I have had dogs and cats since I was a baby. The dog breeds I have taken care of are Boston terriers, huskies, and one pit bull mix (a rescue) and a Great Dane (although I cannot walk him). I have also had fish and hamsters, but I would not consider myself an expert on rodents. I have owned fewer cats, only two, but I would still consider myself competent. I am used to walking dogs and have no issues whatsoever taking care of them. I'm a college student living on the UO campus, so you are helping me out more than anything to alleviate stress by letting me hang out with your animals! I'm also used to walking long distances and can provide exercise for more energetic dogs. Safety is a priority of mine and I would be extremely responsible with your babies. I'm also very comfortable with cats and would love to see them as well. When it comes to house sitting, I have the same preferences as dog walking. I will always be respectful of your animals and living space. I have house sit a few times, most notably taking care of the Great Dane and pit bull mix mentioned above. I don't discriminate when it comes to breeds and I'm able to deal with high energy animals, including puppies. Whatever you tell me to do I will do for you.
