Pet care experience
My name is Kindal and I am a 29 year old veterinary technician. I have owned animals for my entire life and have now worked professionally with them for 9 years. I started as a daycare/kennel where I became a PCS1 (management). From there I started my journey in veterinary medicine. I also volunteered at Cincinnati Pit Crew to assist in training behavioral dogs and well as Animal Friends to help walk, feed, and clean. I am comfortable administering any medication including injectable medications and chemotherapy pills. In the summer I also offer swimming. If your pups paws are in the water, so are mine. They will never be in the water alone. I also provide life jackets upon request. In the fall (and cooler summer days) I offer hiking, creeks, etc. In the case of that, I do prefer that your dog is up to date on their lepto vaccine. I prefer that your pet is up to date on their rabies vaccine for my safety and theirs as it is required by law. Also if your pet likes pup cups I am completely happy to take them on adventure for a snack. Sometimes your pet just needs someone to sit and be there. If you have a dog that doesn't like walks and doesn't like to play, I am completely fine with just sitting in their presence to be there. I am extremely experienced with "behavioral dogs", senior pets and special needs dogs as I have one of my own. I am currently using Rover while I finish school online to continue to grow in my field. Because my school is online I am generally good with last minute requests. I have no cancellation fee as I understand that things happen. I prefer to do a meet and greet for dogs, but if you absolutely cannot I am also fine without. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you have a great day!

Kindal was extremely patient with our dog who has been dealing with some stranger anxiety. She communicated with us very well and went above and beyond to try to make our pup feel more comfortable including playing classical music. We would definitely recommend Kindal!

I am not currently doing in home sitting as I have a special needs dog and a senior dog. If you request me to stay overnight in your home I bring my own mattress, I'm a non smoker, non drinker, very clean and overall a very calm and simple person. I would spend my time tending to your pets, playing with them, and doing everything I can to make them comfy and happy while you are gone. If your dog is taking a nap I will most likely just study or read. I also sometimes play classical music for the dogs as it is proven to help reduce anxiety in most animals.
Information Kindal L. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if your dog is updated on vaccines, and which vaccines they receive. This will depend on where I feel comfortable taking them. I know this may deter people, but your pets safety is my TOP priority. If they are not updated on parvo, I am still more than happy to play and spend time with them, but I would avoid taking them to highly populated dog areas. If they are not vaccinated for lepto, I would avoid taking them into creeks. I also would need to know your dogs temperament with humans and other animals. This is vital information to where I feel comfortable taking them as well. If they aren't so sure about other people or animals, that is COMPLETELY fine and I will still take them outdoors if you'd like, just not areas that I feel they could be stressed or put in a position that would make them uncomfortable. I would of course like to know their likes and dislikes, where they do and do not like to be pet (or if they prefer no petting which is completely understandable), and if they have any triggers. And finally, any injuries or medical issues that are important to know.
A typical day
I am full of fun ideas! I love anything from a fun day of adventure, to a calm day just relaxing. I enjoy hiking, walking, enrichment toys (I can supply my own if you don't have any but want to try), and if it's warm I would be more than happy to take your dog for a swim! The pool is fenced in, and your dog will never be in the water alone. I provide life vests for them, and will make sure they are dry, hydrated and happy after swimming! I also have natural, pet safe sprays if you'd like me to spritz your dog after to avoid any wet dog smells. I have multiple options to choose from! I am always willing to take your pet for a pup cup. My car is pet proofed and safe. I always carry reusable, clean, pop up water bowls in my car along with other important supplies. I also would be more than happy to spend calm time at home with your pet if they are more laid back. They want to watch TV? Me too. Cuddle? Me too. Just have someone sit in there presence so they aren't alone while they gaze out the window? I'd love to. I am open to everything, so just let me know!

My schedule is extremely flexible as my school is all currently online. My response time is usually just a few minutes. I try to keep my phone on me constantly for Rover.
