Pet care experience
I've always grown up with pets in my life, and currently have a 15 year old beagle mix and regularly care for my daughters' temperamental cats. As a recent retiree, I'm looking to fill my time with doing something meaningful. I have cared for family and friends' pets, by walking, feeding, and spending time with their animals. With my experience, I would consider myself patient and attentive to your pets' needs and realistic about what I can do for them.

I have used Rover for many years and have had different Rover sitters, but I can whole heartily say that Kimtien is the absolute best!! I am so thankful that I found her. My dog Theo had an excellent time during his weeklong stay with Kimtien. I received daily updates and pictures. During his stay, Kimtien went above and beyond by taking him on walks, taking him to the beach, taking him to the local coffee shop and the Farmer's Market. My dog recently had intensive surgery so it was extra important to me that I felt his sitter would take good care of him and that he was not housed with a bunch of other dogs - Kimtien put my mind at ease so that I could enjoy my vacation. Theo is usually very attached to me, but he actually seemed a bit sad to be home after I picked him up! I have finally found a Rover sitter that I trust and Kimtien is the only Rover sitter that I will be using going forward! I highly recommend her if you are looking for a great trustworthy sitter!
Kim takes care of my family's dog when we are away. He's a 15 year old chonker that absolutely loves her because she was so attentive and patient. He walks really slowly and she always made sure to not rush him so he could still enjoy his walks and I haven't received any complaints from neighbors that she does not pick up after him during these walks. She also cared for my and my partner's cat when we were away. Our cat is very needy and skittish and Kim made sure to stay with our cat each day until she was adequately calmed and reassured. On both occasions she listened and followed through when I explain how much my dog and cat needed to be fed and when.

I am currently retired from office job, so I am available from 8:00AM to 8:00PM for dog walkings, and feeding anyday of the week except saturday morning
