Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of and owned dogs my whole life. I grew up owning multiple Golden Retrievers, a Havanese, and a Bassett Hound. Many of my friends and their families own dogs, so I am frequently around their pets, too. I also have a Golden Retriever of my own, Janey. She is high energy and super fun! I have been caring for other people’s dogs for many years as well, including overnight dog sitting, walks throughout the day, and potty/feeding drop-ins. I also am versed in dog training, as I trained one of my family’s Goldens myself, including obedience and potty training. I can’t wait to meet your pup!

Kimmy watched Zeek for 4 nights and 5 days, and she was amazing! She provided daily updates and photos multiple times each day and it was a relief being able to leave town and know that Zeek was being well taken care of! He got lots of play time and snuggles and they even took him for a long in the park! I would 10/10 reccomend having Kimmy watch your pup!
Perfect host in every way!
This was my first experience on Rover and also having someone other than a kennel watch our dog while we were out of town. Unbelievably great experience for both my dog and us too! Kimmy and her dog, Janie were so welcoming, pampering and kind. Kimmy was extremely interactive with our dog and you can just sense how much so loves being with animals. Great, great experience-can’t recommend highly enough.
Kimmy took great care of Oliver at her home while we were on vacation for a week. Oliver had the best time with her sweet dog, Janey! She sent daily photos and updates and was communicative the entire time as needed! He went on walks, played in the backyard and even went for a jog! Definitely recommend her with anyone's fur baby as she will spoil and care for them as her own. Thank you, Kimmy!

I will walk with your pup, spend time with them inside playing or cuddling if it’s too hot, or playing in the yard or fenced park. I know how beneficial it is to have a tired pup at the end of the day, so I will certainly try my best to ensure that happens! Dogs thrive off of routine, so I will adhere to any routine you make me aware of, including waking, potty, exercise, and feeding schedules!

Is it okay if other people or dogs meet them on walks? Anything else you think I should know is welcomed!
A typical day
If your dog is in my home, I live in a great neighborhood with friendly neighbors - it’s the perfect walking neighborhood with quiet streets. If I’m caring for your dog at your home, I will research the area to find dog-friendly places to go on walks, or if you have a specific route/area you’d like me to stay in, please let me know! I ask that you let me know what kinds of things your dog loves so I can play with them best! We will do all the things they love :)

Availability
I work as an engineer and am required to be in-office Monday through Friday in Gilbert. Because of the distance from my home, I sadly will not able to come home at lunch to let pups outside. My boyfriend, however, works from home at least two days per week (usually Tues & Wed but can make accommodations if we have advanced notice). He and I live together, so you’ll get 2 sitters when you book a boarding stay with me! Besides neither of us being home during the day for ~3 days/week, you wouldn’t have to worry about your pup being left for long periods of time. We spend a lot of time at and around our home, especially playing with our pup! If you need a weekend pet sitter, our schedule would be perfect for you!
