Hello, I'm Kimmie! Happily caring for your pets “in your backyard” - servicing Ashford Park, Chamblee, Brookhaven, and surrounding neighborhoods. I am a huge dog lover and have had dogs in my home since I was was 7 years old. I can't live without them! My passion for pups extends beyond my own, so rest assured, your furball will be pampered with cuddles, long walks, and belly rubs with my care. I have experience caring for dogs big & small as well as pups & seniors. I have experience in caring for older dogs with medical needs who require strict routines and medication schedules. On the other hand, age has slowed down my dog's pace, leaving me longing for companionship and energy on longer walks, so allow me to help tucker your dogs out with some sunshine and exercise!

As a dog owner myself, I understand that trust & safety are at the top of every dog owner's mind when trusting someone with their dog's care. I am committed to customizing care plans with each client to ensure their needs are fully met with the care of their pets. If dog care at my home is needed, we welcome your pups to enjoy our spacious fenced-in backyard, access to the whole house, and designated dog spaces gated off indoors (as needed). We also have a large crate available in case your pup prefers the comfort of their own space.

Your dogs likes/dislikes and temperament are what I'd love to know most. Any quirks, triggers, treats, does/don'ts are all great things to know going into a new relationship with an animal. I'd love to discuss more specifics once we connect!
A typical day
Activities are customizable to your dog! We will likely take a more routine approach - walking around your neighborhood or stopping by a nearby park or dog park, but I am happy to discuss any other desired activity you have in mind for your pup. I'm also a huge proponent of allowing dogs to pace their own walks and sniff as long/as much as they want, so your pup won't feel rushed with me!

Availability
I recently hung up my corporate cape and am excited to re-focus on things I love the most - dogs! That said, my schedule M-F is flexible for drop-ins and walking. Longer term pet sitting and boarding may also be available if our schedules align. Let's work something out!
