Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Kim, and I can’t wait to meet your furry friends! I am a long time pet owner who believes that compassion and patience are the best way to approach any animal. I love adventure and the outdoors, so you can be rest assured while you are at work or away that your dogs will be having the time of their lives. I pay very close attention to the needs of each individual animal in my care and do my best to give them the best experience possible. This includes walks, trips to the dog-park, play time on our 1/3rd acre of property, home-baked treats, and attending to any dietary or health needs your pet may have. I also own a 1 year old Old English Sheepdog/Bernese mix who is very friendly, and loves to play with other dogs, if your dog is the kind of pooch that enjoys a playmate! I currently have open availability during the week and on weekends. I offer dog boarding at my 1/3 acre property that is great for active dogs to play in, and comes with a built in friend - my 90 lb English Sheepdog Mix, Luke, who loves to play and hang out with other dogs. The work week can be overwhelming, but I am here to ensure that your furry friends are taken care of so you don’t have to worry about them on top of everything else!
Reviews
Kimberly has boarded our dog a number of times. We have always had a good experience, and our dog is happy and comfortable in her house. I definitely recommend her!
Bumble always seems to have a blast when staying with Kim & Luke! We love receiving pictures of him having a good time while there!
Thank you so much for taking such great care of my pup! He came home happy and all played out.
Kimberly sent picture of her doing epic things with my dog every day. I'd recommend her and her pup to give your energetic dog a great stay.

Information Kimberly W. would like to know about your pet
I am comfortable caring for all kinds of dogs and have cared for many breeds of dog, including giant and toy breeds. I've found that they all have uniquely endearing qualities, but often different needs. Before providing daytime care for your dog I'd love to find out about any allergies, fears, their energy level, temperament around strange dogs and people, as well as any special toys, favorite treats, and preferred walking destinations! If you are interested in arranging dog-daycare or an overnight stay I'd also like to know how your pet reacts to cats. I've had success setting up a baby-gate to block over-zealous pets from chasing my 2 cats, and I can prepare a plan for your pooch if you're unsure of how they'll react around felines.
A typical day
I enjoy personalizing each dog's activities to their unique needs. I often go on multiple-mile hikes with my high energy pooch on the trails at Tryon Creek State Natural Area, or to visit the Gabriel dog park to socialize and play, and if your dog is also an energetic-socialite he would join us on these adventures. Other possible adventures could include enjoying hours of supervised outdoor exploration on my 1/3 of an acre property, leisurely walks to nearby Garden-Home park or Fanno-Creek trail, and long games of fetch, tug, or soccer.
