A Leash on Life! 🐾
Pet care experience
I’ve spent the majority of my life working with children and seniors. I haven’t had a pet for a very long time, but friends and family have been trusting me with their pets for over 20 years. Last summer, I met Kal, a mixed breed rescued by a young woman in Florida. I was given the once in a lifetime opportunity to take care of Kal for a month, and it was fantastic! She gave me a new “leash” on life which inspired me to seek out more opportunities to be with dogs. I still work with two legged creatures, but my heart has gone to the dogs. 🐾
Reviews
Kim is reliable and instantly connected with my dog. I’ve needed to call her last minute, and she was able to fit us into her busy schedule. Kim has been on-time and sends photos of the visit with a text update. Most importantly my dog gets excited to see Kim and looks forward to her visits.
Kim has cared for our Whippet in our home for drop ins and multiple day overnights on. numerous occasions. She is wonderful. Our dog loves her and we enjoy worry-less time away. When we returned, our house looked exactly as we left it. She took our dog for walks and played with him in the yard. She is lovely. We highly recommend her.
I only had my rescue dog Oliver who is a 6-year-old yellow lab for four months when I was going to be away for 7-days. Kim and Oliver bonded immediately. Kim stayed at my house as I didn't want to put Oliver in a kennel. Having Oliver in a familiar environment was important to me and Oliver. He had been moved around before we rescued each other. Kim sent me photos and videos of what she and Oliver were doing each day, he was a very happy guy. Kim had complete access to my home when I was away. I couldn't have asked for things to work out better. However, Oliver has asked for visitation rights to see Kim lol. Which we do now and again.
