Pet care experience
I am a wildlife biologist working part time as a sea turtle technician, and I have a great deal of experience caring for animals including orphaned fawns, bear cubs, and raccoons. I grew up with dogs, and as a graduate student I worked as a regular sitter for a family with dogs and cats. I have also been a foster parent for both young dogs and seniors with the Northwest Boxer Rescue. Now, I have a dog of my own named Moose who I love very much. He's about 2 years old. I am happy to spend time at home if your dog is a couch potato, but I also have a lot of energy and would love to take your dog on walks or runs to exercise them! I can drop by for walks or spend the night with your dog if you are out of town. I also have my own transportation. I really enjoy spending time with animals and would love to sit or walk your dog!

Can't say enough good things about Kim! She is responsive, reliable, kind and the pups love her! She was my first experience with Rover and we were spoiled. She easily took care of our two labs, one older and creaky, and the other a handful at times. We are at a marina on a boat so it was even trickier with docks, ramps, longer walks to grassy areas and nothing phased her. She did multiple walks while we were traveling out of town. She sent pictures throughout giving the peace of mind you need. We'll be using Kim again!
It was so nice to be able to go out of town for the weekend and leave my girls and home in such great hands. Kimberly is so wonderful and I am very thankful to have found her, for this trip and future trips! Thank you so much!!!

I don't have any breed preferences and am happy to sit both small and large dogs. I would like to know if your dog requires any medications beforehand, but I am very comfortable administering medications if needed. I also want to be aware of any behavioral tendencies your dog may have such as food or toy aggression, and I want to know the type of care you are looking for (companionship, exercise, or both).
A typical day
I am really active and would love to take your dog on walks or runs around your neighborhood or at the beach. I am also happy sitting on the couch and giving your dog some much needed pats. I am really flexible and will base the activity level on the individual dog and what you as an owner are comfortable with.
