Pet care experience
I am a 25 year old living in Lincoln Park and have been a dog owner since the age of four. I've experienced caring for both old dogs and puppies growing up, and through dog sitting over weekends in high school. I have a 5 year old adorable Shih-Tzu who lives at home with my parents, but I still consider her to be my pup :). My dog loves to ride in her bike basket, run around, lay on the beach, explore the woods, and go on walks. I will happily do the same activities with your dog, as well as give them any extra attention for their needs. I have a lot of patience and love for animals, and Rover was the perfect way for me to spend time with dogs before I become an owner again!

Sophie came home happy and tired from all the attention she received from Kimberly, who even got up in the middle of the night when Sophie wanted to play tug and fetch. Kimberly was also great about communicating, and timely and attentive to coordinating care needs and preferences. We'd be happy to have Kimberly take care of Sophie again!

I currently live in an apartment building in Lincoln park with a gated outdoor area. I live in a quiet neighborhood with little traffic, plenty of sidewalks, and nearby parks. I am also a 1 mile walk to the lake that I frequently enjoy walking to. My apartment has room for a crate if necessary, but your dog would be free to roam.

Please let me know if your dog has any medicine needs, if they are potty trained and how they get along with other dogs. Any other additional information about their personality, like if they like long walks or prefer to sleep throughout the day, scared of loud noises, etc. would be helpful!
A typical day
I am happy to do any activities that your dog loves to do in their daily routine. Playing fetch at our near by gated park, walking Lake Shore Path, short or long walks throughout my neighborhood.

I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I am an early riser and typically make time for a few walks throughout the day, no matter the whether, which would mean taking your dog on walks with me!
