We have both had dogs in our homes since childhood and currently have two "middle-aged" chihuahua mixes who are spoiled silly. We have a very pet-friendly home and believe that pets are family and deserve to be treated as such. I (Kimberly) have worked with tons of animals - domestic and exotic over the years (Philadelphia Zoo, Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center) and pet-sit for friends and family on a regular basis. We have a solid home with a fenced-in yard, but we walk our dogs daily in the warmer months and take them to the dog park multiple times a week. We have alternate work schedules, so one of us is always home. One of our dogs has a history of bladder issues and we understand the importance of regular, frequent potty-breaks!
