Tell Your Dog I Said Hi!

Pet care experience

Or better yet, let me come visit and do a meet and greet with your pup and see how well we get along! I don't think we'll have any problems. I've been caring for dogs my whole life and I wouldn't have it any other way. While growing up, I took care of my own dog, pet sat, walked, bathed and fed my neighbors/friends dogs, and my first job was in a kennel caring for and tending to the animals. I used to hold the dogs for the visiting vet there, and she thought I had a great rapport with the animals and suggested I become a veterinarian. I moved on to work as a veterinary receptionist, but I wasn't too happy behind the desk - I wanted to interact with the animals more, so they trained me as a veterinary assistant. When I was 19, I went to grooming school to become a certified groomer and after awhile, I opened my own grooming business and interacted with all my fabulous clients and their pets. I stopped to raise a family, but I was never without a few dogs (and a couple of cats, too!) at any given time. Do you worry about what kind of person will be caring for your pet? Worry no more, I'm the same way, and I'm your person. I like my animals to be treated with love and a gentle hand. I will treat your dog as if it is my very own, with tender loving care, respect, patience and understanding. There will be NO hitting, no teasing, no frustration. Being separated from the family is never easy for our little guys, so I will make every effort into making your pet as happy and as comfortable as they can be. Dogs give us so much- unconditional love, laughter, happiness and joy- and this is my way of giving back to them. Call me today to book an appointment!

My family had not been on a vacation is years (3 to be exact) because of boarding issues with our dog on our previous trip..... our last vacation resulted in having to have our dogs tail amputated because they snapped it in the kennel door, he lost 15 pounds in a week, and he got happy tail syndrome because they put him in a kennel too small for him. Kim is a Godsend and the absolute best! She came to do a meet and greet and the 2 of them clicked immediately! She sent us pictures as well as updates EVERY single morning, with everything we needed to hear to give us peace of mind! We came home to a house that was cleaner then it was before we left, and our sweet boy that had been so very well taken care of! Not once did I have a single worry while we were gone, and that was HUGE! We were able to enjoy our much needed vacation knowing that our fur baby was getting the love and attention that we give him! I would highly recommend Kim for all your babies needs, and we will continue to use her moving forward!

Kim was born to be a friend to dogs. She used to groom our dog Suzy and she was absolutely AMAZING with her, even when Suzy was a dog that other groomers had trouble with, she just had that special touch. Kim and Suzy had such a special relationship that she also took care of Suzy whenever we were traveling. Kim just has that special gift with dogs that we dog owners dream about finding. If you have found Kim, you have found your dog's new best friend.

I'm currently not able to board dogs at my home, but I can certainly take care of them in yours. Your space will be respected, and when I take doggo out for a potty (if you have a fenced in yard and they don't need to be on a leash), rest assured, I'll be standing right there to make sure there are no problems. I do this with my own dogs to make sure they are safe from any element of danger that may be lurking around the corner. Your bestie is safe with me.

Information Kimberly M. would like to know about your pet

Having worked as a vet assistant, I can help if your dog has special needs. I can administer medication, either oral or injectable, help during seizures, and for those senior pets, I can alter my normal walking pace or even bring a wagon your dog can ride in to get out and get some fresh air.

A typical day

So many things we could do together. Going for walks, playing fetch, tug of war...even a trip to the dog park if pet parents are okay with it. I can also do some light grooming (brushing, getting out thar shedding hair, ear cleaning, nail clipping, just ask!) Lots of pets, hugs and kisses will be administered, so watch out, dog might be spoiled!
