Pet care experience
I’ve been surrounded by dogs (and cats, horses, fish, Guinea pigs, bunnies, etc.) of all breeds, sizes, and ages since forever. From my family's massive beloved Newfie to teeny tiny Yorkiepoo, from Golden Retriever puppies to a Grandpa Golden Doodle, and now my grunty low rider and foster fail leopard dog, I like to think I have shuggled and scratcheled them all. Truly, dogs have been treated like members of my family and I really try to make your pup feel that way when they visit too. 🩷🐶 I do have a toddler at home (hence the Paw Patrol reference), so your pup should be good with tiny humans in addition to an annoyingly affectionate, ridiculously cute basset hound mix, Wilbur, and the sweetest snuggle pup American Leopard Dog, Jane. I adopted these rescues separately, but have basically acquired one dog with eight legs. They seriously sleep in a swirl together (usually on my bed), have daily howwwwwwwling hound choir practice, and now live a hard life of getting constant affection, 1-2 mile daily sniff walks or dog park adventures, mountains of treats and doggy bones, a BarkBox subscription for each I can’t afford, and as many scratches and kisses as I can give my 40 and 60 pound “lapdogs.”
Reviews
Kimberly was very friendly and sent tons of amazing pics!
Glad to have found Kimberly to get our Border Collie out for a walk. Will definitely book with her again!
Kim was very communicative and sent a lot of photos! Skye enjoyed her stay.
Kim was an attentive sitter. She sent us frequency updates with cute photos and videos of our dog, and we really appreciated how she treated Freya as one of her own.

My house has a small fenced in yard with a doggy door, and we are lucky to be surrounded by tons of trails, open spaces and dog parks in Erie. I also admittedly let dogs sleep on all the furniture, share toys, treat puzzles, and bones (no rawhide - duh), and give them enjoy many frozen “Kong-sicles” their puppy hearts can handle. The bottom line is I get it. I've had Rover people watch my dogs and have also boarded them at many places in the area. I promise to send tons of photos so you don’t have to worry that your dog is in good hands and making puppy friends.

Information Kimberly K. would like to know about your pet
Pet parents should bring beds, toys, bones, and anything else I need to properly and take care of your dog (although the hounds don’t mind sharing too!). If it’s a long stay and they’re crate trained, I appreciate the crate too so they have a place to hang that smells like home. You will also need to bring food and the feeding schedule - I feed my pups once at dinner time, so if that doesn't work, let me know what does!
A typical day
On the weekends, I like to take the whole fam on long walks and "smell buffets" around the trails and open spaces in Erie, and short hikes (for everyone’s short legs) in the mountains. We also spend a lot of time at the two off leash dog parks very near my house (Great Bark in Lafayette and Boneyard in Erie), so if your pup wants to tag along, Jane and Wilbur would love to show them their favorite sniff spots.
