I currently have 4 years work experience as a veterinary assistant (2 of which I have spent working as a "technician in training" and a float nurse) as well as multiple years of volunteer experience. I started as a kennel attendant and worked my way up in the ranks through hard work and dedication to the practice. I have worked with a wide variety of animals in HOME, SHELTER, and HOSPITAL settings. I have completed Penn Foster’s Veterinary Assistant program and I am currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program. I worked exclusively with cats for 2 years and have just reintroduced dogs back into my work and my life. If any dog owners also have cats, I am more than happy to take care of any feline companions as well!
