My most favorite thing to do in the whole world is to spend time with dogs and cats. I love to walk them, play with them and cuddle with them. I have had pets my whole life and for 25 years of my adult life. I have volunteered at the county shelter since May 2016. I walk dogs, take dogs to events and provide enrichment for dogs. I work with shy dogs and with more challenging dogs at the shelter. I have one dog Ellie and one cat Oscar currently. I fostered a dog from the rescue list at the shelter and learned a lot about caring for behavior dogs through that experience. Most recently I fostered a bonded pair of dogs, one of which was a hospice foster. I volunteer for Best Friends Animal Shelter in Utah when I go on vacation. I am also experienced giving meds to animals. For my full time job, I teach math. But my other passion is being with animals whether it be playing with them, cuddling with them or walking them.
