Pet care experience
I have been working with dogs for over 10 years and have experience working in fast paced dog hotels/grooming salons/veterinary clinics in customer service and as a kennel technician supervising open dog play and caring for the dogs in regards to ensuring they have enough potty breaks, are fed regularly and correctly according to the client’s instructions, have their medications regularly if they have them, and are in a clean, sanitized, comfortable environment whether that be a kennel, crate, suite or large room. I have a sincere love for dogs and I have experience adminstering medications, feeding, making nutrition plans, walking, providing agility courses, and creating open play groups for dogs. Not only have I cared for dogs in a dog boarding kennel environment but also have taken dogs into my home whenever our hotel was at full capacity. I focus on having an intimate, small pack because I believe over booking leads to carelessness and really is a disservice to the dog which is my prime focus and concern. I want all the dogs I care for to have as much ongoing affection and mental, emotional and physical well being as my own dogs. I do not accept all dogs for this reason because I do not want to be overworked or have the dogs suffer just for monetary gain. My service is truly to put the dog's well being first, and adhere to the client’s needs and instructions as well.

Kimberly has a passion for dogs (and cats)! She has a loving relationship with my dog and helped train him since he was a puppy. She goes above and beyond with her care including: giving baths, cutting nails, giving medications or anything else she sees as necessary for the care and comfort of my pets.

I would like to know the dog's history of boarding, daycare and grooming. (Has the dog been to a boarding facility or home boarding environment before? Is the dog friendly with children or prefer adult attention? All dogs bite if put in an uncomfortable position, but the question for this is do you know of an incident when this dog has bitten someone or another animal and please describe the situation. Describe your dog's personality. Is your dog a free feeder (leave the food out and the dog will nibble at it at will or eat throughout the day) or has a regular appetite, eating 1-3 meals a day? Does the dogs have medications and what kind of medications are they? Is the dog friendly to people and other dogs? I have no breed preferences but prefer not to board giant dogs. I mostly board small- medium/large dogs. What kind of tempermant does your dog exhibit in group play environments, such as the dog park, doggy day care, grooming, or boarding situations? How long have you had your dog? What vet do you use and please provide the vacciantion paperwork. All dogs must be current on bordetella, rabies, distemper parvo, and canine influenza through a veterinarian vaccination record. Your dog must be booked for a free play date, called a socialization before boarding, or being involved in continuous day care in order for me to assess whether the dog will fit into the pack.
A typical day
I always make sure to take pictures of your dog's vacation stay with me every single day. I am always a phone call away and also have a section on the application to board with me where you must list your veterinarian and sign a release to ensure that if your dog does get sick I am able to take them to your vet first, and the emergency vet in my area if there is not time to get to your vet. We will go on walks at least 3 times a week at the park in my town. I also require extra back up leashes and harnesses to ensure your dog does not get loose during a walk. I have leads but will ask if you are able to get a back up lead so your dog is unable to break free during a walk, potty break, or a run to petsmart. We will have a strict routine daily, one that requires exercise followed by breakfast and dinner *(I also give lunch if necessary for the dog's diet plan)(physical), brain puzzle games for treats (mental), and affection throughout the day (mental).

I care for my own pets daily and have time to care for client’s dogs everyday of the week. I have time for daily care for dogs between 6am-9pm.
