Hiker, jogger, and cuddler!

Pet care experience

(Only one dog living with me!)Having volunteered at animal shelters and watching my neighbors dogs for years, I'm capable of handling the smallest of chihuahuas to the biggest of wolfhounds. I'm very active in hiking, jogging, swimming, running, etc. and can easily and willingly provide your furbaby with that type of exercise and exposure. I'm adept at obedience training, having worked closely with puppies and dogs to work on good behaviors (no jumping, waiting, redirection for biting, etc.), polite manners such as leash-work, and cute tricks. I worked previously with another similar dog care service which has provided me the experience to better understand dog behaviour and communicate better with them. With my services, both you and your doggo can be sure I'll provide a stress-free and entertaining environment best suited for y'alls lifestyle.

Kim was amazing with our dog! Definitely kept him busy and took him on a lot of long walks. We loved receiving updates from her throughout the day.

She was amazing with my big guy! I was nervous leaving him just because he’s such a wild puppy. But she worked so well with him and now seems to be even better behaved than when I left him! I appreciate the patience she had with him and will definitely feel comfortable leaving Bear with her again!

My dogs absolutely loved Kim and we did too. She was very good at sending pictures, videos, updates while we were away. I have 2 labs that just turned 1 and she was able to keep up with their hyper, always wanting to play, and run lifestyles. She asked all the right questions prior to our departure and she’s very good with catering to each dogs wants and needs. We will definitely be calling her again very soon!

Kim took in our 2 year old German shorthaired pointer for 3 WEEKS! If you know anything about GSP's you'll know they are super energetic and a hand full to inexperienced dog owners. Kim took him with open arms and she did a phenomenal job. She would take him on daily excursions, walking, running, through parks and lakes and constantly kept us updated with daily pictures and videos. She is very professional, experienced and most importantly of all, loves what she does. So much so, she shed tears when we picked up our pup...I highly recommend Kim. If she can care for a 2 yr old GSP for 3 weeks, what can't she do?

Information Kimberly C. would like to know about your pet

Due to my energy level, I prefer more active and bigger dogs such as pointers, kelpies, collies, retrievers, and dalmatians, but I have no issue taking care of other pups. I grew up with a maltese and a chihuahua, so I'm comfortable with small dog limits.

A typical day

Since I live right off the University of Maryland, we'll have fun walking around the 1300+ acre campus. Mckeldin mall on campus offers a wide area and fountain perfect for chase, fetch, and then a quick dip in the water (which also offers very adorable photos!). It's also connected to Paint Branch trail where we can jog for miles and explore Lake Artemesia.
